First stop was Jerry's Artarama in Raleigh, for you copic lovers, I have found they have the best variety of colors..and the copics were only $4.87 each. I picked up 16 new colors, to give me a total of 48 copics all together.
Here is a picture of all of the ones, I have so far...
Second stop, was to Archivers in Raleigh, my favorite store outside of AC Moore. I bought a new Cricut Cartridge, Easter 2010, which brings my total of cartridges to 46 as well. I did have a few more, but I sold them due to little usage. I also bought another sizzix die, the flower and flourish one. A 100 sheet Bazzill Cardstock pack, another sizzix embossing folder pack, argyle and lines & circles set, another memento black ink pad (for my copic fun), and I made two make n take thank you cards.
Third stop, was to Barnes And Noble in Cary to get the Christmas Magnolia Ink magazine, I ordered the new Spring one, waiting for it to arrive. This Barnes and Noble was the only one I could find the magazine at. I called the ones in Raleigh, and Fayetteville. The Cary store actually had about 9 copies, I was very surprised.
Fourth stop, was to eat dinner at the Macaroni Grill in Cary. First time I had ever been there, and it definitely will not be my last. The food was great. I had heard so much about it, but just never bothered to stop. In Fayetteville, we only have Olive Garden and Carraba's, so it was nice to have something different for a change. We eat out so much, that it was nice to have a different choice, not the same old standbys.
Fifth and Last stop, was to the Best Buy in Cary. I decided to take the plunge, and turn my doodles into digital art, that I can sell online. I purchased a Bamboo Craft Pen & Touch. I was originally going to just use a stylus on my touch computer, but decided to give in and buy the Bamboo, instead. If any of you have used the Bamboo Craft before, and have some words of advice, please fell free to share, you can email me or leave a comment. I have never used one before, just watched the demo video in the store. But it looks easy enough, and even comes with DVD, a bunch of other software. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet. But once I do, I will update, my thoughts and experience with it.
This is where most of my scrapbooking things are housed..Mind you, not all, as I have a closet full of sizzix, albums, more paper, stamp sets, a total of 3 cricuts (original, create, and an expressions), an original sizzix, sidekick, and a gypsy, as well, as tons of other tools.
